The HR Preps team picks the six biggest high school football games for this week of the season.
St. Teresa at Tolono Unity

LAST MEETING: Unity won 50-13 in 2014.
RADIO: WSOY 1340 AM
KEY PLAYERS: For St. Teresa, Zach Jarrett, Jr., RB; Ryan Fyke, Jr., QB; Noah Bowers, Jr., OL/DL; Sam Luckenbill, Jr., OL/DL; Zach Fitzgerald, Sr., OL/DL; Ethan Lehmann, Sr., DB/WR.
For Tolono Unity, Zach Gadbury, OL/DL; Jayden Kaiser, WR/DB; Chandler Cousins, RB/LB.
KEYS TO THE GAME: It's a huge opening game for both teams. St. Teresa will try to establish itself as a state power as this figures to be one of the tougher tests on the schedule for a team that opens the season ranked No. 3 in Class 1A. A strong running back could help St. Teresa control a game that quickly got away from it a year ago. And eyes will be on freshman Jacardia Wright to see how he is worked into the St. Teresa offense.
Unity opens at No. 8 in the Class 3A rankings mostly on reputation and potential. The Rockets need to see where they are tonight as a pair of sophomores have been battling to take over the quarterback spot. Veteran coach Scott Hamilton will also be plugging in new faces on defense where just three starters return. But figure he will get it solved. Unity won six of its games a year ago by at least 26 points, so those younger players got plenty of varsity minutes. Unity has won seven of the last eight in the series.
Football season gets underway with the start of practice Monday. St. Teresa, now in Class 1A, is one of the interesting stories to follow. Herald & Review, Lisa Morrison
