LAST WEEK: Shelbyville lost to Sullivan-Okaw Valley 47-14; St. Teresa beat Tuscola 28-21.
LAST MEETING: St. Teresa won 43-27 in 2013.
KEYS TO THE GAME:
Shelbyville is coming off a tough loss in a game in which it finally couldn't outscore its opponent.
Shelbyville had been giving up 25.2 points going into last week but scoring 48.5 per game. Tic Robinson (749 yards rushing) and Lucas Duckett (1,738 yards passing, 20 TDs) give the Rams good options on offense. Shelbyville has 32 opponents' wins going in and finishes with 0-7 Central A&M but would like to regain some momentum in hopes of a decent seed in the first round.
St. Teresa is on a six-game win streak since opening with a lopsided loss to Tolono Unity and could wrap up at least a share of a Central Illinois Conference title win one more win. The Bulldogs have been playing with fire the past two weeks, winning back-to-back games in the final minutes.
