HR PREPS: Week 1 key matchups : Preps
Aug. 28, 2014 8:24 pm

Tolono Unity at St. Teresa

LAST YEAR: Tolono Unity was 8-3; St. Teresa was 6-4.

LAST MEETING: Unity won 27-13 last season.

KEY PLAYERS:

For Unity, Colton Reed, Sr., LB/TB; Taylor White, QB; Austin Bonnell, OL

For St. Teresa, Jake Handley, Sr., FB/LB; JD Mattingly, Sr., TE/LB; C.J. Stuart, Sr., RB/LB; Sam House, Sr., OL/DL

KEYS TO THE GAME: The Rockets are missing 14 starters from a year ago but coach Scott Hamilton's program always has something in reserve. Even with the influx of powerful teams, Unity is expected to make a 21st consecutive appearance in the playoffs. That's where St. Teresa last saw
the Rockets. After beating Unity in the regular season, the Rockets came back to win a playoff game that wasn't as close as the score indicates. But now, even with the loss of quarterback Christian Williams, it may be time for St. Teresa to get a taste of revenge. A strong front line should create some room for running backs Jake Handley and C.J. Stuart.
